The remodelers arrived yesterday and did all the demo work on the hall bath. They took out everything; even a cabinet we agreed that would be faced rather than replaced. Oh well, we'll just work it from here and hope that the job gets done by the time all the family members return to Casa Bonita for Christmas. I will say that we are enjoying the master bath/closet remodel.

Digging deep
into the
photographs
I found a
decade-old
picture that
proves that
we too once
had a cat or
two, though
one look at
our
doorframes
in the house
would be
evidence
enough.
These two are Smokey and Waldo. Smokey was fairly homebound, but Waldo loved to go down to Tramway boulevard some nights and that proved his undoing. Maybe, just possibly, we may acquire another kitty but not till retirement.

A bit bigger picture of the maple tree with Marolynn in her matching purple socks. I'm involved in a photo scanning project and in going through all the pictures, notice that Marolynn is a much more attractive subject than I. There's a new scanner next to the computer now that does a much better job of rendering the photos in correct color and without white specs. Much less Photoshop work, now.

Time to put on the Sunday suit for the fall maple tree picture. I haven't worn this suit much since Carrie's wedding, but it seems comfortable enough. This year's foliage display dispite the moisture was not so kind to us because of early frosts, but the late fall trees are full of yellow and red and are quite beautiful in the crystal clear November weather.

Yarrr. Although Halloween came and went so fast that I didn't do much in reconigtion of it, Marolynn came up with a few choice items to wear a pirate outfit to school. She looks pretty good in it, I do believe.
