It's almost a monsoon evening. We're barely east of the really scorching weather in the western U.S., and though not really forecast, a nice thunderstorm came rolling in from the north as darkness fell. I used a Flip Video camera to take a video looking NW from the back yard patio, then freeze a frame into this picture. The Flip Video is a double-A battery run device that stores a half hour of video and downloads to the computer via a USB plug that flips out of the side. Very intuitive, great for small-time video, and inexpensive.
