The monsoon season continues. This was taken on August 23 from the west mesa looking east toward us and we had a half-inch or rain that night. August has been humid and quite warm, especially at night to make it overall the warmest August on record. Rain in Albuquerque was between 1 and 2 inches for the month. In the last couple of days of the month it has cooled off enough to open the patio doors at night to enjoy the cool breeze; earlier we had to keep everything shut against the 85 degree nightime weather and turn on the air conditioner.
