I spent most of today attending the various aspects of Madge Griffin's funeral today. I'm glad that I came up to Utah to do this because I renewed acquaintances with my cousins on Don and Madge's side of the Griffin family, and also, as Glen came up to the funeral, all of the Griffin family was represented with the exception of Aunt Elsie. It was a fine service as was the short graveyard service thereafter. The flowers that we sent are shown here also. After the services were over, I was invited to a luncheon for the family put on by the Relief Society at Alan Griffin's ward where I was able to catch up on family news, getting addresses, phone numbers and email boxes, and also to take a few pictures of my cousins and their families which I'll post in the blog.
